American Christmas has been decorating some of the most iconic locations in NYC and around the world for over 50 years. These include Radio City, Rockefeller Center and Cartier, just to name a few. Located on Warren Place in Mount Vernon, a nondescript street full of warehouses, auto repair garages, and school bus parking lots. That is, until you pass the FedEx Center and find yourself in front of American Christmas, the holiday gem that’s been hidden in Mount Vernon for over 10 years.
In 2021, American Christmas opened its first retail location, with the idea to offer all of Westchester the opportunity to buy commercial and residential holiday decorations. Being that there is no year-round Christmas store locally, we have the perfect opportunity to fill that void.
The company also decided in 2021 to open our showroom and guests to tour our “Winter Wonderland Walk Through” with all proceeds donated to local charities.
In 2022, After the success of their freshman run, American Christmas is bringing even more holiday magic this year. Investing in new large-scale décor pieces and animatronics for this year’s holiday attraction, “Santa’s Village at American Christmas”. Santa’s Village will immerse you in a 15-minute walk-through that kids and parents will love. Remember to bring your camera!
In addition to giving back to the community, special discounts are available to school employees of Westchester County and local community clubs and organizations. Christmas in America opened its doors for the season in July with extended hours closer to Christmas. “Santa’s Village at American Christmas” will open on November 6th and will run through December 22nd with tickets available online.
